Between 20 and 22 October 2025, a meeting of the expert team was held at the INTERPOL Headquarters in Lyon, France, marking the official launch of work on the programme concept and training materials.
The project鈥檚 goal is to develop a comprehensive training curriculum designed to support security services, public administration, and event organisers in preventing, identifying, and responding to potential biological threats during large public gatherings. Completion of the programme development, along with the creation of training materials and delivery of the first course, is scheduled for 2026.
