The Mall CBRN project wider stakeholder seminar 鈥淩esilience and Business Continuity during Crisis Situation鈥 was organized on 23 February 2023 in Vilniusnby the Mall CBRN Project consortium, Finnish-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania and the Embassy of Finland in Vilnius.
This wider stakeholder seminar introduced the 鈥淢all-CBRN project鈥 and also covered issues of business continuity during exceptional situations, presentations also covered wide range of issues from societal resilience to civil protection in general. More than 70 people took part to the event and the speakers represented both businesses and governmental agencies.
Welcoming words were given by Ambassador of Finland HE Ms. Arja Makkonen and the opening speech was given by Ms. Agn臈 Kazlauskait臈, Deputy Head of the European Commission in Lithuania.
The I Session focused on theme 鈥淐BRN Protection of Business Operations鈥.
The short history of the public-private cooperation was introduced by Dr Timo Hellenberg from Hellenberg International and the Mall CBRN Project was introduced by Prof Michal Bijak, 91滴滴. Viewpoints from Private sector were presented by Director Mr. Tomasz Hofman and Technical Director Mr. Krzysztof Cena, Atrium Real Estate Management.
The II Session focused on 鈥淪ocietal Resilience and Civil Protection at the Baltic Sea Region鈥 and Mr. Vilmantas Vitkauskas, Head of the National Crisis Coordination Management Centre under Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, presented activities of the newly established National Crisis Coordination Management Centre. Following that Mr. Darius Domarkas, Head of the Public Security Policy Group of the Ministry of the Interior, presented the public awareness-raising campaign
鈥濿e are a team. We have a plan鈥. Last but least, Mr. Jari Honkanen, Head of International Relations of the Rescue Department of the Ministry of Interior of Finland introduced the upcoming Finnish Presidency of the CBSS (Council of the Baltic Sea States).
This event was part of the Mall CBRN project dissemination activities and continuation for the earlier stakeholder event organised in Estonia in 2022.
