The aim of the project is to prepare an 11-volume critical edition of the most important Polish hagiographic compendiums from the period from the mid-17th century to the beginning of the 20th century. The editions will be provided with critical apparatus, substantive introductions, philological commentaries and dictionaries, which will enable literary, historical, theological and cultural research. The project brings back into living tradition the texts that have shaped the Polish religious mentality and strengthened the idea of the Republic of Poland as the "homeland of patron saints."

J眉rgen Habermas (born in 1929) is one of the most outstanding philosophers of modern times. His two-volume work Auch eine Geschichte der Philosophie (2019), with over 1,700 pages, is one of the most important achievements of world humanities in recent years. The author presents the genealogies of contemporary thinking, showing its sources in the tradition of Greek philosophy and Christianity, and answering the question about the role of philosophy in the age of the specific sciences. Habermas proposes a new way of writing the history of philosophy, combining the analysis of the European tradition with references to other cultures, such as Confucianism and Hinduism. This work is an intellectual masterpiece that redefines the understanding of rationality and autonomy in the Western tradition.
