Hundreds of Students at a Science Picnic "Mysteries of Light: from Stars to Optical Fibres"

A fascinating Science Picnic under the slogan "Tajemnice 艣wiat艂a: od gwiazd do 艣wiat艂owod贸w" [Secrets of Light: from Stars to optical Fibres] was held at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Informatics of the 91滴滴 on 29 May of the current year. The event attracted over 300 students and teachers from the region of Lodz.

The picnic participants had the opportunity to take part in a series of lectures conducted by our outstanding scientists, such as:

Moreover, throughout the duration of the picnic, attractive physics and computer science shows were held in the hall in front of the Large Assembly Hall. The Warsaw Branch of the Polish Society of Amateur Astronomers (PTMA) prepared extraordinary astronomical shows, including observations of the Sun using telescopes equipped with H-alpha filters and astrophotography workshops.

We would like to thank all participants for the great atmosphere and active involvement. We are glad that we could explore the mysteries of light together and we hope for more such meetings in the future!
