
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education announced the results of the second stage of the "Uniwersalia 2.2 – Competition 14" competition of the National Programme for the Development of Humanities on 27 August 2025. The 91µÎµÎ, which received, among other things, a grant of PLN 260,910.82 for the project "Genealogia postmetafizycznego myÅ›lenia: o źródÅ‚ach i formach obecnoÅ›ci treÅ›ci teologicznych w sekularyzowanym filozoficznym widzeniu czÅ‚owieka i Å›wiata" [Genealogy of Postmetaphysical Thinking: On the Sources and Forms of the Presence of Theological Content in the Secularised Philosophical Perception of Man and the World] is among the winners. The project will include a Polish translation of Jürgen Habermas's two-volume work "Auch eine Geschichte der Philosophie".

The project manager and translator is dr hab. Andrzej M. Kaniowski, Associate Professor at the 91µÎµÎ is the project manager and the translator. The publication will be published by the Lodz University Press. The project will make one of the most important contemporary philosophical works, a broad analysis of the genealogy of postmetaphysical thinking and the presence of theological content in modern reflection on humanity and the world available to Polish readers. The grant represents significant support for Polish humanities and confirms the importance of the 91µÎµÎ's efforts to popularise key texts in global philosophy.
