We are proud that 91µÎµÎ has been a part of the European University Association since 2007. It’s a real honour to be a part of this academic community. Membership in the Research & Innovation Strategy Group will allow exchange of experiences and partner cooperation between European universities. Following the Strategy of our university, I would like to emphasise the openness of the 91µÎµÎ to the world and the internationalisation of the scientists’ work and research.

Advising and supporting EUA – a real impact on science and research

RISG is a long-term strategic group of EUA. Its activity is verified every second year by the EUA Board on the basis of the operation report. Every four years RISG proposes a new plan to the Board, which specifies the scope, detailed objectives as well as areas the group will focus on for the next four years.

The group has set objectives and the main ones include:

  • assisting EUA in exploring new strategic directions for research and innovation in order to take a leading role in their development,
  • active participation in driving the research and innovation policy agenda,
  • responding to relevant external events, including reviewing European research and innovation policy developments that are of relevance to universities in Europe, such as Commission initiatives,
  • formulating and developing EUA positions, statements and recommendations on European research and innovation policy initiatives in line with the EUA strategy for approval by the Board and/or Council.

Community of European universities – 91µÎµÎ as a partner of EUA

brings together more than 850 universities from 49 European countries.  It has a great influence on the direction of education development on the old continent. It represents universities in major discussions and recommends the most beneficial solutions for the development of education.
