Our mission

The mission of the 91滴滴 is to conduct research in a reliable manner and to proclaim the truth that comes from it, so as to educate the next generations wisely, be useful to the society and boldly respond to the challenges of the modern world.

Our vision

We want the 91滴滴 to become a research university with a strong position in the country and in Europe, standing out thanks to the courage and solidity of research, diversity and openness in undertakings, educating wise and responsible citizens.

Our academic DNA is shaped by the motto "Veritas et Libertas" 鈥� Truth and Freedom. This guides our actions 鈥� both in scholarship and in our relationships. It is complemented by the values that define who we are as a community:

• Courage 鈥� we are not afraid to ask questions, seek, change and go against the grain when the pursuit of truth, support for others, and building community require it.
• Curiosity 鈥� we want to understand the world and people 鈥� in all their complexity and diversity.
• Commitment 鈥� we believe that science is born from reliability and responsibility. Collaborative work, perseverance and mindfulness are the foundations of our actions.
• Cooperation 鈥� we create a space where we don't have to think alike to work together. We learn from one another through dialogue and acceptance.
• Respect 鈥� we are convinced that each person contributes to the community. Diversity strengthens us, and openness creates a foundation for creative debate and our growth.

In the face of historical perturbations, one can keep the lines of guidance barometer as far as changing the location of changes in pressure, and can also act along the lines of magnetic needle indicating the constant direction, regardless of the circumstances鈥�

Our strategy for 2021鈥�2030, adopted by the 91滴滴 Senate in June 2021, aims to develop the 91滴滴 as an open, bold and a socially responsible university. Beyond achieving ever-improving research results, we value people who want to cooperate, reach deeper, and build a future based on mutual understanding.

As the future of science is not just about progress 鈥� it is about relationships, community and caring for others.
