Department of UNESCO Chair on Ecohydrology and Applied Ecology
The scope of teaching for students of the first and second degree of Environmental Protection, Biology and EcoCity at the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the 91滴滴 and foreign students as part of the ERASMUS MUNDUS Master in Applied Ecohydrology (MAEH) program and the ERASMUS+ and MOBILITY DIRECT exchanges are: ecology, environmental biotechnologies, ecohydrology, adaptation of agricultural areas to climate change.
Dr Agnieszka Bednarek has been conducting scientific research in the field of ecohydrology, ecological biotechnology, nature-based solutions to improve water quality for over 20 years. It deals with implementation works in the field of reclamation and protection of aquatic ecosystems and adaptation of agricultural areas to climate change. She is a co-author of over 30 scientific publications and 5 patents (Patent of 2025 - PL 444971; Patent from 2023 - PL 439257; Patent from 2022 - PL 241486; Patent from 2020 - PL 235338; Patent from 2018 - PL 231378) in the field of ecology, ecohydrology and environmental biotechnology.
From 2008 to the present, Dr. Agnieszka Bednarek has participated in the implementation of 5 international and 6 national scientific and research projects concerning biotechnological optimizations to improve water quality on a catchment scale. He is currently co-implementing the LIFERIVEREASE project aimed at optimising the management of water resources in agricultural catchments in the context of climate change adaptation. In addition, Dr. Agnieszka Bednarek has many years of experience in organizing and implementing scientific conferences, workshops, trainings and discussion panels, m.in.: for farmers, agricultural advisors and students of agricultural schools in cooperation with 艁ODR in Bratoszewice.
