Dr Dawid Kobia艂ka was born on 13 August 1985 in Chojnice. After graduating from primary school and high school, in 2004 he began higher studies in the field of archaeology at the Faculty of History of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna艅.

He completed his archaeological studies in 2009 with a master's thesis entitled "Biography of things in theory and practice, the promoter of which was prof. W. Raczkowski. In 2009, he was on a one-year scholarship under the Erasmus program at the Linnaeus University in Kalmar (Sweden), where he graduated with a master's degree (MA) based on the thesis entitled 鈥淎pproaching archaeologists' culture. Slavoj 沤i啪ek, psychoanalysis and archeology鈥� 鈥� prof. C. Holtorf was its promoter. In 2010, he also defended his bachelor's thesis at the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna艅 based on the work entitled "Ethnography and the history of the long life of archaeological artefacts", under the supervision of the then dr. A. W. Brzezi艅ska.

In the years 2009-2014 he was a participant in doctoral studies at the Faculty of History of the University of Adam Mickiewicz completed with obtaining the title of doctor on the basis of the dissertation entitled "J贸zef Kostrzewski's archaeology from the perspective of contemporary methodological reflection (supervisor prof. W. R膮czkowski). During his doctoral studies, he was on a scholarship from the Swedish Institute at the Linnaeus University in Kalmar in 2012-2013. During it, he carried out research on the role and importance of historical reenactment (the project entitled "Back to the past? The relations between tourism, past, and cultural heritage. The case of Poland and Sweden").
