She fulfills the duties of a research and academic staff member, as well as responsibilities arising from leading the Department of Research on the Development of the State and Law.
She presents her research findings at national and international scientific conferences and publishes them in academic journals and monographs.
She delivers lectures on the history of the Polish state and law, conducts seminars, methodological discussions, practical classes, and supervises BA and MA seminars.
A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of 艁贸d藕 (2004), she defended her doctoral dissertation in 2009, prepared under the supervision of Prof. Jacek Matuszewski, on the topic: "Ma艂偶e艅skie prawo maj膮tkowe w 艣wietle intercyz sporz膮dzonych przez 艂贸dzkich notariuszy w latach 1841-1875". In 2020, the Science Committee in the discipline of law at the University of 艁贸d藕 awarded her the title of habilitated doctor based on her monograph "W艂asno艣膰 prefabrykancka w 艁odzi w latach 1820-1866".
She is currently employed as an Associate Professor.
Her research focuses on the history of judicial law in Polish territories and comparative legal studies, particularly 19th-century matrimonial, property, and inheritance law, as well as its transformations in the 20th century. She is the author and co-author of numerous academic and popular science publications and has presented her research at both international and national conferences. Additionally, she has organized numerous conferences.
She has successfully completed a research grant funded by the National Science Centre on "Inheritance Law of the Second Polish Republic in the Case Law of District Courts."
