• Pre-Hispanic mythology and oral traditions
• Modern and contemporary literature (particularly prose and drama)
• Style and composition theory
• Theoretical exchanges between film and literature
• Visual language (the interrelationships between various art forms)

Teaching

Irmina Szubert teaches modules on areas from Contemporary Spanish and Latin American Literatures, and Hispanic Literary Studies, to Spanish Language, Culture and Civilisation, Translation Theory, Comparative Literature, BA Research Seminar in Literary and Cultural Studies, and MA Proseminar in Spanish Literary Studies (Women鈥檚 Literary Studies).
