艁ukasz Jan Berezowski

Doctor of Philosophy, linguist and literary scholar of Italian studies, graduated from <st1:place><st1:placetype>University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename>Warsaw</st1:placename></st1:place> (MA: 2007, PhD: 2012).

Researcher and teaching staff member (Assistant Professor).

Holding research in the field of linguistics including: translation studies, specialized translation, legal linguistics, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, philosophy of language, lexicology and lexicography.

Course taught: techniques of translation, specialized translation workshops (law, business and commerce, ideology and social activity), simultaneous interpreting, electronic tools for translation, translation and interpreting between B - C languages, monograph lecture in translation studies, Bachelor鈥檚 and Master鈥檚 seminars.

Coordinator of translation studies program in the Department of Italian Studies, member of the University Committee on Disciplinary Liability of Academic Teachers of 91滴滴 (2020-2024 term of office).
