• Physiological, biochemical and molecular mechanisms of plant resistance to abiotic environmental stresses.
• Influence of abiotic factors on plant growth and development.
• Improving seed quality by selecting and performing various priming/conditioning treatments.
• Natural plant biostimulators - research and application.
• The role of melatonin in plants (phytomelatonin).
• Research on the antioxidant properties of phytochemicals in the context of obtaining new sources of functional food and natural cosmeceuticals.

• Member of the Council of the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the 91滴滴.
• Member of the Commission for scientific degrees in the discipline of biological sciences of the 91滴滴.
• Member of the Disciplinary Committee for PhD students of the 91滴滴 (term 2020-2024).
• Member of the committee in the field of exact and natural sciences and agricultural sciences (discipline of forest sciences and discipline of agriculture and horticulture), for the evaluation of applications in internal IDUB competitions (term of office 2020-2021).
• Member of the Scientific Committee of Organismal Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (term 2020-2023).
