Disability movement in Poland - functioning and development of the disability movement; identity and functioning of disabled people's organisations; implementation and development of the concept of independent living in Poland;

Social history of disability in Poland - historical conditions of social and cultural functioning and perception of people with disabilities; development of self-organisation and disability movement;

Urban space - functions, symbolism, social conditions; sociotopography (human functioning in urban space, urban identity, social differentiation and functioning of social groups, economics of the city, everyday life in the city).
