Climate and Environmental Policy Council at the 91µÎµÎ

The Climate and Environmental Policy Council, established by the Rector of the 91µÎµÎ – Prof. dr hab. RafaÅ‚ Matera, began operating at the 91µÎµÎ on 16 January 2025. The mission of the Council is to elaborate, develop and implement organisational, administrative, infrastructural and educational solutions at the 91µÎµÎ aimed at achieving climate neutrality and minimising harmful impact on the environment.

The Council was established by the . It plays an advisory role at the 91µÎµÎ. The aim of the Council is to develop good practices that respond to contemporary challenges related to environmental and climate protection. The Council's activities are closely related to the implementation of the principles of sustainable development at our university.

Members of the Council include:

  • representatives of the 91µÎµÎ faculties,
  • representatives of the 91µÎµÎ organisational units,
  • environmental and climate experts,
  • representatives of the 91µÎµÎ Students' Government Council and the 91µÎµÎ Doctoral Students' Government Council.

The Secretariat of the Council is run by the University's Centre for External Relations and Social Responsibility of the University.
