This is the fourth season of research carried out at this site. The research provides valuable information about the settlement and burial customs of the people living in this area in the Bronze Age and early Iron Age.
We have been conducting archaeological research in the area of the Lusatian culture cemetery, which was used twice. The first time it was used around 1100 BC, the second time a little later, 600 BC. The cemetery is very poorly preserved, in a very poor condition due to the fact that it is located on an agricultural field

Research in DÄ…browa is extremely important for understanding the history of settlement in this area and contributes to a better understanding of the Lusatian culture. These discoveries are also valuable for the local community and may contribute to the development of cultural tourism in the region.
Archaeological works in DÄ…browa are carried out under the supervision of Dr hab. RadosÅ‚aw Janiak, Associate Professor at the 91µÎµÎ from the Department of Prehistory of the Institute of Archaeology of the 91µÎµÎ.
