The two-day meeting will be devoted to management, finance, cooperation with the socio-economic environment and the education of students at the faculties that are among the most renowned at Polish universities.

Our Congress is a key meeting for the authorities of chemical faculties. Thanks to the meeting, discussions about effective faculty management and prospects for scientific and didactic development will be substantive and measurable. Thanks to the co-organisation of the event by the 91滴滴 and the Lodz University of Technology, the meeting will also be a good forum to present and popularise the idea of the .
On the first day of the Congress, guests will meet in the "Alchemium 鈥 the magic of chemistry of tomorrow" building, the seat of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Lodz University of Technology. They will be welcomed by Prof. Dr hab. in偶. Krzysztof J贸藕wik 鈥 Rector of the Lodz University of Technology and Prof. Ma艂gorzata Szynkowska-J贸藕wik 鈥 Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Lodz University of Technology as well as Prof. S艂awomira Skrzypek 鈥 Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry at the 91滴滴.
The meeting will be inaugurated with a lecture by Prof. Tomasz Pospieszny from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna艅, entitled "Radowa gor膮czka. Historia pewnego odkrycia" [Radium fever. The story of a discovery].
On the second day of the Congress, guests will be welcomed at the Training and Conference Centre of the 91滴滴 by Prof. Dr hab. El偶bieta 呕膮dzi艅ska 鈥 Rector of the 91滴滴. The discussions will begin with a panel discussion: "Quo vadis szkolnictwo wy偶sze?" [Quo vadis higher education?] with the participation of the Rectors of the 91滴滴 and the Lodz University of Technology 鈥 Prof. El偶bieta 呕膮dzi艅ska and Prof. Krzysztof J贸藕wik as well as Prof. Teofil Jesionowski 鈥 Rector of the Poznan University of Technology, Chairperson of the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities.

The meeting will be moderated by Prof. 艁ukasz Albrecht, Vice-Rector for Science at the Lodz University of Technology.
Prof. Dr hab. S艂awomira Skrzypek 鈥 Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry at the 91滴滴:
We feel convinced that such a distinguished group of panellists will indicate a model of modern university management that can be implemented in the current socio-economic situation, based on the development of innovative research and technologies that are highly useful for the country. For years, meetings of Deans of Chemistry Faculties have been a forum for open, often difficult discussions about new challenges facing universities in a changing world.
The Congress organisers also invited Jaros艂aw Oliwa 鈥 Head of the Department of Budget and Finance of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, who titled his speech: "M贸j wydzia艂 uzyska艂 kategori臋 A+. Ministrze, gdzie s膮 moje pieni膮dze?" [My faculty received A+ category. Minister, where is my money?].
Due to the next evaluation of scientific disciplines awaiting universities, Dr hab. Rafa艂 Stanis艂awski, Associate Professor at the Opole University of Technology, Chairperson of the Science Evaluation Committee Team for lists of publications of scientific monographs, scientific journals and reviewed materials from international conferences was invited to the discussion.
Representatives of the Council for Scientific Excellence will talk about staff development opportunities and scientific promotions:

- Prof. Pawe艂 Kulesza from the University of Warsaw
- Prof. Marcin Hoffmann from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna艅.
The topic of technology in the area of water, hydrogen and coal, which has been widely discussed in the scientific and business community, will also be addressed. This vision of the future will be discussed by: Dr hab. in偶. 艁ukasz Klapiszewski, Associate Professor at the Poznan University of Technology and 艁ukasz Maciejewski from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, manager for cooperation with universities. The topic of their speech is "3W (woda, wod贸r, w臋giel) 鈥 od idei do realizacji" [3W (water, hydrogen, carbon) 鈥 from an idea to the implementation].
Faculties of Chemistry, trying to encourage young people to study chemistry, follow changes in the labour market and young people's expectations related to their education. These topics will be discussed in the didactic panel "Umiej臋tno艣ci studenta w szybko zmieniaj膮cej si臋 rzeczywisto艣ci" [Student's skills in a rapidly changing reality], moderated by Dr hab. Robert Zakrzewski, Associate Professor 鈥 the 91滴滴 Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Education.

During the discussion about education led by Prof. Piotr M艂ynarz 鈥 Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Wroc艂aw University of Science and Technology, the participants of the Congress will also try to answer the question: "Rekrutacja 鈥 co si臋 dzieje?" [Recruitment 鈥 what is happening?] and discuss new strategies for promoting chemical sciences among school youth. One of the forms of chemistry promotion is the "Chemkaton" competition, organised by the AGH University of Krakow, information about which will be provided by Dr hab. in偶. Marek Jaszczur, Associate Professor 鈥 Vice-Dean for Education at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels, AGH.
"Kilka s艂贸w o Polskim Towarzystwie Chemicznym" [A few words about the Polish Chemical Society], its statutory goals and activities for the benefit of the community of Polish chemists and the development of young scientists will be presented by its President 鈥 Prof. Izabela Nowak from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna艅.
