The distinction is awarded in four fields of science (biological and medical sciences, humanities and social sciences, exact sciences, technical sciences) and in the field of art. The winner may be a person with at least a doctoral degree, permanently employed in the Lodz region, who by 31 December of the year of the competition edition has not reached the age of 38.
The award ceremony will be held on 18 November of the current year at the headquarters of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Lodz.
It should be underlined that Dr Piotr Kr臋zel is already the third employee of the Department of Slavic Philology at the 91滴滴 to receive this award.
