During the two-day meeting the project鈥檚 progress was discussed and the next steps were planned. The meeting culminated in a research seminar on 鈥淪kill Signals: Using Online Job Ads and Big Data to Identify Skills Shortages and Gaps鈥�. The seminar was held in hybrid mode.
The event gathered researchers and stakeholders involved in labour market analysis and data-driven policymaking. The seminar, among other things, featured papers on the following topics:
- Skill gap and shortage analyses using Revelio/LinkedIn data (SkiLMeeT project).
- Skill needs in the AI era (SkiLMeeT project)
- Skill profiling in software engineering using machine learning (SKILLAB project)
- Skill changes and mismatches in the labour market based on online job offers (TRAILS project)
- SkillsPULSE approach to identify skill gaps and shortages
The meeting concluded with a panel discussion with the participation of Polish stakeholders.
