The meeting of the expert team took place at INTERPOL headquarters in Lyon (France) on 20-22 October 2025. During the event the work on the programme concept and training materials was initiated.
The goal of the project is to develop a comprehensive training programme to support security services, public administration and mass event organisers in preventing, recognising and responding to potential biological threats. Completion of the programme, preparation of teaching materials and the first training sessions are planned for 2026.
Prof. Micha艂 Bijak鈥檚 participation in this prestigious undertaking is a recognition of his many years of research and experience in the field of biosecurity. It also confirms the growing role of the 91滴滴 in international efforts to protect public health and biosecurity.
