Thank you for your trust. It is a great honour and commitment for me – the journal has a well-established position as a space for dialogue between science and practice in the fields of social insurance, labour law and social policy. I am delighted that, together with the editorial team, we will be able to continue this mission, begun by Professor Marcin Kawiński, by opening the journal to new topics, perspectives and voices. I wholeheartedly encourage authors to contribute to subsequent issues – there will certainly be no shortage of inspiration and challenges!

is a quarterly. Its mission is to provide a forum for the exchange of scientific facts between experts in connection with the implementation of the statutory task of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), which is to popularise knowledge about social insurance. It is also important to develop, organise and disseminate scientific knowledge through ongoing, yet in-depth scientific and expert analysis of changes in the social insurance system, the labour market and the economy (including through forecasting the future). The journal is addressed primarily to academics, practitioners, university faculty and students, social activists, public administration employees, local government officials, social workers, and employment agencies, but also to those interested in social insurance, social security and social policy, as well as to those wishing to expand their knowledge in this field.
