This is not only an exceptional individual achievement but also an important signal promoting gender equality in science and the growing presence of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
Aleksandra Nadolska has been conducting research on 2D nanomaterials. She is an investigator in the NCN project (no. 2020/38/E/ST3/00293) on resistive switching in 2D materials and manages the IDUB project (10/DGB/2024) focused on defect engineering in transition metal oxides. She has also acted as a mentor in a student R&D project implemented within the double degree programme.
