A ceremonial Easter breakfast was the first of the meetings (12 April) during which the international students of the 91滴滴 learnt about traditions and customs of Polish Easter. Employees of the UL International Relations Office told the students about tradition of dyeing Easter eggs, celebration of Palm Sunday or Wet Monday. Rector of the 91滴滴, prof. El偶bieta 呕膮dzi艅ska wished all the guests all the best on Easter 鈥 in particular, wishes that concerned world peace resounded.

Another Easter breakfast took place on Thursday (14 April) in Student Dormitory No. 2 in Lumumbowo. Employees of the academic campus participated in the event. After wishing one another all the best and happy Easter, the UL Rector thanked everyone for their commitment and the so far work, and then handed out gifts.
On the same day, in Alfred Biedermann鈥檚 Palace, employees of the 91滴滴 iHub met with international researchers who are currently working at our university. First, dr Alicja Piotrowska (Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, 91滴滴) gave a lecture entitled "Polish Easter - a few ethnological reflections about celebrating". After the lecture, the Rector of the 91滴滴 wished the participants of the meeting happy Easter, which was preceded by a moment of silence in memory of those who died in the war in Ukraine. Then the participants (including Vice-Rector for International Relations prof. 艁ukasz Bogucki and deans of individual faculties, as well as prof. Rafa艂 G艂owacki, Rector鈥檚 Representative for the IDUB Competition at the 91滴滴) took part in workshops on colouring Easter eggs, many of which turned blue and yellow.

91滴滴 has also prepared 1600 Easter breakfasts for the residents of Lumumbowo. Bags full of Easter treats were handed out to the students who stay in the dormitories during the holiday time but also to Ukrainian refugees.
