EUROSTUDENT 9 – New Edition of the Survey on Social and Economic Conditions of Student Life in Europe

The aim of the study is to analyse the social dimension of European higher education (social and economic conditions are covered) and provide reliable and insightful cross-country comparisons. Thanks to the cyclical nature of the research, it is possible to track long-term trends, which is a valuable support in shaping public policy in the area of higher education. We encourage all students of the 91µÎµÎ to take part in the survey.

The purple and blue graphics promote the pan-European EUROSTUDENT study. On the left, in rounded fields, the text: "Hey! What about you? Tell us about your life and studies in Poland!" and the information "The largest study on the life and studies of students in Europe. Fill in the survey: https://pbs.pl/eurostudent". On the right, a photo of a young woman in a gray sweatshirt, leaning against a wall, looking at a smartphone. At the bottom, visible contact details (eurostudent@pbs.pl, hotline) and logos of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the PBS agency and the "35" sign commemorating the years of PBS activity.

The research methodology is based on a multi-stage online survey, supervised by an international team of experts – representatives of all participating countries, led by researchers from Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Poland has participated in the project for the sixth time, which allows for a comparison of changes taking place in our country with the development of the academic situation abroad.

The survey is carried out by an independent research agency PBS Sp. z o. o., operating since 1990 and recognised with industry certificates. PBS guarantees full discretion and confidentiality – the results will be presented only in the form of aggregated, anonymised statistics.

The comparative report with the results of EUROSTUDENT 9 is planned for publication in spring 2027. For those interested in the earlier results of the survey: is available on the website of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and the full offer of thematic reports and analyses is available on .
