Balance and staying calm are especially important these days. In the next episode of the podcast, we'll show you how the way herbs are prepared affects the bioactive compounds used to support the operation of the nervous system.
In our research, we compare various aqueous extraction methods – infusions, decoctions, decoctions and macerates – analysing the role of temperature and time in shaping antioxidant potential.
The research results indicate that:
- "hot" methods are often the most effective ones,
- preparation time is crucial for the stability of phytochemicals,
- a conscious approach to extraction is crucial.
In the podcast:
- we discuss research results,
- separate facts from simplifications,
- show how science supports everyday choices.
Peace of mind should be built on knowledge. We encourage you to listen and join the discussion!
