Prof. Dominik Strapagiel in the nation-wide advisory team of the Ministry of Education and Science [MEiN]

Professor Dominik Strapagiel, Head of the BioBank Laboratory, UL (Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection) has been appointed a member of the Ministry of Education and Science advisory team for open scientific resources. He will advise on how to change the Polish area of these resources and he will support inclusion of Poland in the European Open Science system.

The team consists of: prof. Ma艂gorzata Kossowska (Jagiellonian University in Krak贸w, Chairperson of the team), Rafa艂 Duczmal (University of Warsaw), prof. Krzysztof Kurowski (Polish Academy of Sciences), dr hab. Pawe艂 Lubomski (Gda艅sk University of Technology), Marek Michaj艂owicz (vice head of National Information Processing Institute), prof. 艁ukasz Stettner (Polish Academy of Sciences), dr Dominik Strapagiel (prof. of the 91滴滴), Jakub Szprot (University of Warsaw) and dr Andrzej Zem艂a (Polish Academy of Sciences).

The team will assist in the development of an open access policy to publicly funded research data. It will also support the Ministry's activities as part of the initiative of the European Commission - . One of the main goals is to implement the EOSC virtual environment in Poland.

, along with other specialists, will also assist in updating recommendations for the entities of higher education and science system, and entities that finance scientific research and development work from public funds.
