City Trail is a nationwide series of five cross-country runs taking place over a six-month period in 10 cities across Poland, including Lodz.
In the individual women's classification, in each age category, the highest places were taken by:
- Dr Izabela Różańska-Bińczyk (Faculty of Management, 91ε) – 2nd place in the K 45 category with the best time in the cycle: 00:25:14
- Dr Anna Maszorek-Szymala (Faculty of Educational Sciences, 91ε) – 2nd place in the K 50 category with the best time in the cycle: 00:25:26
- Joanna Muras (Faculty of Management, 91ε) – 3rd place in the K 45 category with the best time in the cycle: 00:25:16
- Renata Olender-Bartosik (Science Centre, 91ε) – 5th place in the K 40 category with the best time in the cycle: 00:23:27
- Dr Edyta Masierek (Faculty of Geographical Sciences, 91ε) – 7th place in the K 45 category with the best time in the cycle: 00:29:52
In the individual men's classification, in each age category, the highest places were taken by:
- Piotr Masierek (a member of the 91ε Running Section) – 12th place in the K 40 category with the best time in the cycle: 00:20:00
- Dr hab. Łukasz Arendt, Associate Professor (Faculty of Economics and Sociology, 91ε) – 15th place in the K 40 category with the best time in the cycle: 00:20:32
Additionally, in the team classification, the 91ε team took a strong 10th position out of a total of 21 classified teams.
Dr Piotr Kędzia from the Sport Teachers Training Centre at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the 91ε is the coach of the 91ε representation.
We would like to offer our congratulations to all the race participants!
At the same time, we encourage all employees of the 91ε to participate in running training sessions, which take place on working Thursdays of the month at 5:30 p.m., alternately in two locations: Park 3 Maja and Park na Zdrowiu – details are provided via the group.
The training sessions are run by Dr Piotr Kędzia from the Sport Teachers Training Centre at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the 91ε, who is an athlete and Olympian from Beijing and Athens. Currently, they are carried out as part of the "Uwolnij Energię 2.0!" project, which received funding from the Minister of Science and Higher Education from the Social Responsibility of Science programme.
