Maria Moneta-Malewska, Roshi Reiko has been practicing Zen since 1978, initially in Poland with Roshi Philip Kapleau, then in the Soto tradition with Roshi Gempo. In 1994, she went to Japan, where she began practicing under Oi Saidan Roshi at the Hokko-ji temple in southern Honshu. She received a Dharma transmission from Roshi Oi Saidan in the Japanese Rinzai Zen lineage.
Roshi an ordained nun in the Rinzai Zen tradition and at the same time is fully professionally active. She runs a private psychotherapy practice, is a valued business consultant in the field of HR (human resources). She is also an active and well-known expert in the field of addiction prevention. She is the author of many books and publications on psychology: "Narkotyki w szkole i w domu", "By膰 tutaj", "Dla siebie i dla innych", "Nie, kt贸re buduje", "Zen 鈥� Zamiataj膮c ska艂y, czesz膮c mech".
