In my academic work, I deal with Italian literature of the 19th and 20th centuries (romanticism, decadence, Scapigliatura, works of the Risorgimento period and the post-unification period; the influence of Fascist ideology on literary works; the relationship between Italian literature and politics).

I teach Italian literature and the practical study of the Italian language, as well as an undergraduate seminar with a literary and cultural profile.

I serve as associate editor of the journal 鈥榚-Scripta Romanica鈥�.

I am the Erasmus+ coordinator for the Italian Philology.
