How to Learn Italian Effectively? – Materials by the 91µÎµÎ Specialist in Italian Language, Literature and Culture

Learning foreign languages is not an easy task. However, using multimedia resources, can make the whole process much more efficient. Teaching materials for learning Italian, created by a group of lecturers of Italian Philology at the 91µÎµÎ and Italian language teachers from other universities and schools in cooperation with the Lodz University of Technology, have just been published on the zpe.gov.pl website.

As a result of the Ministry of Education and Science project, which took over two years, specialist in Italian language, literature and culture from Lodz created concepts and developed 400 materials adapted to the core curriculum for teaching Italian in primary and secondary schools. All interactive lessons were designed using the latest teaching methods and received positive reviews from substantive and technical experts of the Centre for Education Development. They are extremely rich in content and form – detailed language issues are combined with information about Italian culture and learning is supported by various multimedia tools, such as videos, recordings, interactive dictionaries, mind maps, virtual catalogues and educational games. The materials are intended for students, teachers and anyone interested in learning and teaching Italian up to a lower intermediate level (A2+).

Prof. Jacek Stańdo (Centre of Mathematics and Physics) was responsible for the project management and coordination at the Lodz University of Technology.
