WHAT CAN AND SHOULD WE DO TO PROTECT BIODIVERSITY?
The PolBOL team's answer, apart from scientific research, is NATURAL EDUCATION. On November 15, 2024, we conducted classes for students of grades 7 and 8 from Bronis艂aw Czech Elementary School No. 2 in Zakopane. During the lesson, the topic of which was "Genomics of biodiversity", the youth discovered the richness of life in the nearby Mi艣kowiec stream. With the help of our specialists (Karolina Bacela-Spychalska, Aleksandra Jablonska, Piotr Falczewski and Grzegorz To艅czyk), young researchers learned both traditional and innovative methods of studying biodiversity, using the example of organisms living in their immediate surroundings.
