This year, the programme includes many workshop meetings. The recently formalised cooperation between the 91滴滴 and the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz has also been strongly marked. Below we present the list of joint ventures.
The RIVERSCAPE project by Mark Doma艅ski (Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz) and Tomasz Ferenc (91滴滴), which is part of the "blue humanities" trend. It draws attention to the destruction of 19 rivers in Lodz and the need to restore people's awareness of the presence and role of rivers in the historical dimension, as well as reveal their life-giving potential.
The project includes:
- a photo exhibition, which can be seen from 17 June at the university's Wozownia 1/5 Gallery, Franciszka艅ska 1/5 in Lodz after prior registration via e-mail. The formal opening of the exhibition will take place on 23 June at 7:00 p.m.
- workshops in the form of a walk along the 艁贸dka River from its sources, which will be held on Saturday (June 24) between 11.00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Registrations should be sent by e-mail (workshops@fotofestiwal.com), and include the name of the workshop in the subject line.
The discussion "Photography in Action: Contestation, Activation and Intervention" will concern the topic of how photography can change the environment and the condition of a modern man as well as what determines the success of influencing reality with the help of photography. The discussion led by Tomasz Ferenc (91滴滴) will be attended by artists, curators, activists and researchers 鈥揓ulia Szab艂owska, Io Siversten and Sergio Valenzuela Escobedo. The discussion will be conducted in English. The event will start on Saturday (17 June) at 5:00 p.m. at the Fotofestiwal Centre (Tymienieckiego 3 in Lodz).

The SANDBOX project by Anita Osuch (Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz) is an artistic installation that raises the issue of image migration in the context of augmented reality. The author draws attention to the surfeit of images we are currently dealing with, and to the lack of time for reflection and the quiet work on defining phenomena. The exhibition can be seen until 25 June at the university's Wozownia 11 Gallery (Marii Sk艂odowskiej-Curie 11 in Lodz).
The workshop as part of the "Art in Action" series brings closer possibilities of art in supporting ecology and social responsibility. It shows how the arts sector can raise awareness, stimulate action, promote models of sustainable development and foster the senses of community and solidarity in the face of the ecological crisis. The classes (only in English) will be conducted by Krzysztof Candrowicz. The event will begin on 23 June (Friday) at 11:00 a.m. in the university Wozownia 1/5 Gallery. Registration is required.
The workshop on the basics of photography for students of the 91滴滴 will be led by photographers from the 91滴滴 鈥� Maciej Andrzejewski and Bartosz Ka艂u偶ny. The workshop assumption is to reach for the basics of photography as an optical phenomenon that is based on the laws of physics. The whole will be combined with a philosophical reflection on the possibilities offered by the photographic medium 鈥� a tool used to describe the present creatively. The workshop will start on 25 June (Sunday) at the Institute of Psychology of the 91滴滴 at 11:00 a.m. Registration is required.
