Cooperation of the 91µÎµÎ Faculty of Educational Sciences with the Faculty of Education, Bartin University, Turkey

The 91µÎµÎ Faculty of Educational Sciences hosted Dr Gökhan SavaÅŸ from Bartin University in northern Turkey last week (26–30 May 2025). The scholar visited us as part of the Erasmus+ exchange for academic teachers.

Dr Gökhan SavaÅŸ delivered four lectures: "Teaching with Curiosity: How to Stay Innovative in the Classroom", "What Makes Teachers Thrive? Exploring the Role of Enthusiasm in Teaching", "Becoming a Teacher-Leader: Influencing Schools from the Heart of Teaching", "Learning to Learn as a Teacher: Rethinking Professional Learning in Schools". The lectures met with great interest and inspired discussion.

The issues prepared by our guest were used by first-year students of Pedagogy, fourth-year students of Preschool and Early School Pedagogy, first-year students of Physical and Health Education, and employees of the Department of Theory of Upbringing.

Special thanks should be given to the Faculty Authorities and Heads of units (Department of Theory of Upbringing, Department of Childhood Pedagogy and the Sport Teachers Training Centre), as well as Dr Dominik Chojnowski, Dr Aleksandra Maj and Dr Michał Siniarski-Czaplicki. During their classes, meetings between the guest and students took place. Prof. dr hab. Bogusław Śliwerski led a scientific meeting (in an online formula) for employees and doctoral students associated with the Department of Theory of Upbringing.

Dr hab. Aneta Rogalska-MarasiÅ„ska, Associate Professor at the 91µÎµÎ together with Dr Sinem Maden took substantive and formal care of the guest.
