Conduct research on developing nanostructured catalysts for photo-, electro-, and photoelectrochemical applications, focusing on water splitting, CO鈧 reduction, methanol electrooxidation, supercapacitor, and pollutant degradation.
Apply various synthesis techniques, such as solvo/hydrothermal, annealing, and precipitation, to prepared 3D graphene, CNTs, MOFs, nanomaterials and nanocomposites with 1D (nanorods, nanotubes), 2D (nanosheets, nanobelts) 3D (nanoflower, porous, nanomoss etc.) and engineer catalyst materials for improved efficiency in energy and environmental processes.
Use electrochemical analysis techniques, including faradaic spectroscopy and differential square wave voltammetry, to study reaction mechanisms and optimize catalyst performance. Looks looking forward to applied these techniques in energy applications such as CO2 reduction, and methanol oxidation reactions.
