From my experience, the academic environment in Poland is dynamic, collaborative, and strongly oriented towards internationalisation. Compared to other countries I鈥檝e worked in; I鈥檝e found that Poland combines high academic standards with a welcoming atmosphere for international scholars. There is a high level of academic freedom, and researchers are encouraged to explore interdisciplinary approaches. What I鈥檝e especially appreciated is how focused Polish universities are on building international research networks and partnerships. Additionally, here at the university, there is a strong network supporting the integration of foreign individuals into daily life, which makes settling into the city and academic community much easier.

Being part of the 91滴滴 community has been an incredibly rewarding experience for my professional and personal growth. Professionally, the university has made it possible for me to pursue my passion for studying the physiology of aquatic worms by funding my research project. It has also supported my participation in conferences and short stays in international laboratories, allowing me to refine my skills and broaden my scientific perspective. On a personal level, the university and faculty organise various events aimed at helping international scholars integrate into life in Lodz. These gatherings provide opportunities to connect with others and share experiences. It鈥檚 a place where you truly feel welcomed and part of a vibrant, supportive community.

People were very friendly and always willing to help. Moreover, it is quite common for Poles to speak English, which makes daily life much easier. I am truly enjoying my 鈥淧olish adventure鈥�. The nature in Poland is stunning, and the cities are rich in history, each offering
